Campaign Announcements

Let Your Voice Be Heard

If you served as 2011 CFC-O Campaign Representative, we want to hear from you. Please give us your valuable feedback by completing the Campaign Representative Survey.

Overwhelming Generosity

The men and women serving in the five overseas combatant commands have answered the call to help those in need by contributing over $14.4 million through the 2011 CFC-O. On behalf of those you have helped, thank you for your outstanding support!

Calling All Heroes!

Do you know a CFC-O hero? They may not wear a spandex suit and a cape, but you can identify them by their actions: someone who went above and beyond the call of duty to make the 2011 Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas a success. Take a few moments to complete a nomination form today and your hero could win a national award. The deadline for nominations is February 10, 2012.

Happy Veteran's Day

The CFC-O would like to offer our thanks to all that serve in our nation's defense and wish you a very happy Veteran's Day. You truly do Make a World of Difference in all you do and we are honored to work with you.

CFC-O Completes 6th Week of Campaign

At the end of the sixth week of the nine-week campaign period, the CFC-O is thrilled to reach a total of more than $7.5 million. This represents nearly $1 million more than the total raised on this same point in the campaign in 2010. CFC-O Executive Director, Victoria Adams, notes, "the generosity of DoD members serving overseas is overwhelming. You serve our country every day, yet when the call comes, you find a way give even more." Over 2,500 charitable organizations participate in the CFC-O and depend upon this funding.

Congratulations to Ramstein High School, Patch High School, Kadena High School and Ryuku High School for their winning submissions in the 2011 DoDDS CFC-O PSA Contest. Look for the first, second and third place winners on AFN television and watch all five winners here.

Voting Open in 2011 CFC-O/DoDDS PSA Contest!

For the third consecutive year, the CFC-O and DoDDS Europe and Pacific have partnered in the very popular Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest. Middle and High School students from across the overseas area have submitted their entries designed to promote giving and to illustrate the campaign's theme "Make a World of Difference." Submissions are currently posted on the CFC-O YouTube site and are open for voting. Please visit today and "Like" your favorite. Voting is open until September 30, 2011.

Calling all Unit Coordinators and Keyworkers!

Training sessions for Campaign Representatives (Community/Area Project Officers, Unit Coordinators and Keyworkers) is currently underway. The training takes about an hour and gives representatives some background on the campaign; instructions on how to ask for donations and how to process completed pledges; and walks through the CFC-O online giving options. Check out our Training page to see when/where a CFC-O training session will be held in your area.
